Lockkeepers on the Kennet and Avon Canal in 1911
In 2020 I surveyed the 1911 census to find all the lock keepers along the Kennet and Avon Canal. Here are my findings.
I write Regency romance novelettes with midlife protagonists, ladies with ambition, and gentlemen who work for their living, rather than the usual pretty young debutantes and dukes. I love to include historical details in my storytelling.
