Who runs this site?

Sheridan Parsons in person. There is no external designer or content editor.

What information do I collect?

You can visit the site without registering or supplying information. If you choose to register on the site, I collect your name and email address. You may also volunteer additional information when you participate publicly by commenting on posts and pages.

When you are registered and posting, my hosting service (ghost.org) may record the IP address that the post originated from. They may also retain server logs which include the IP address of requests to their server. Please refer to Ghost for details of their own privacy policy.

What do I use your information for?

Information I collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

• To respond to your enquiries, requests, and support needs.
• To send periodic emails including newsletters.

My hosts, Ghost, implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Please refer to them.

What is my data retention policy?

I retain your name and email address only while you have an active mailing list subscription. I regularly delete inactive names and email addresses. You may unsubscribe at any time. I can also erase your data on request.

Do I use cookies?

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow). These cookies enable the site to recognize your browser and, if you have one, associate it with your registered account. I contract with a third-party service provider (Google Analytics) to assist me in better understanding my site visitors. Their service compiles aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that I can improve my site in the future, e.g., I can find out where traffic is coming from and what pages are most popular. They are not permitted to use information collected on my behalf, other than to help me to conduct and improve my business. Do I disclose any information to outside parties?

I do not sell or trade your personally identifiable information, or otherwise transfer it to outside parties, except that I may release your information when I believe it is appropriate and essential to comply with the law, or to protect ours or others' legal rights, property, or safety. Note that my hosting service, Ghost, has its own Privacy Policy.

Occasionally, at my discretion, I may include or offer third party links, products, or services on my site. These third parties have separate and independent privacy policies. I have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, I seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

My site and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older. If this server is in the USA, and you are under the age of 13, per the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act 2), do not use this site.
