Crumbs!

Here's a bit of a shocker. I wanted you to be among the first to know that I have decided to branch out and see what it's like writing steam! (Gulp).

Just like many great authors, from Lewis Carroll to J K Rowling, I'm splitting my books up using a pen name and different publishing strategies. My steamy books will be written as Sheri Green and I'm starting off by launching them chapter by chapter on a platform called Inkitt, where writers can share works in progress and readers can binge on them free of charge.

Here's a link to my Inkitt profile, where you can find the first chapter of the very first book, Anchored, which I published this evening.

All my stories on Inkitt will be bingeable 'Instalove' short reads under 15,000 words, with satisfying happy-ever-after endings, featuring wonderful, strong men who appreciate curvy, thoughtful women.

The settings will still be Regency. The sex will always be mainstream, with full consent. There will be no swearing, and the sexual terminology will be mild or euphemistic.

Now I do realise that this new genre won't be everybody's cup of tea, so I may set up a second website if it takes off for me, but in the meantime, I may post a few updates here – never fear, they will all be squeaky clean.
