Cover Dilemmas

I am currently working on my next novelette. It's called The Little Regency Book Shop. I wanted to design a cover which might appeal to a wider audience - perhaps someone who hadn't tried a Regency setting before. I played around with a few different ideas that were closer to modern chick lit and holiday reading styles . Here's a sneak peek of what I ended up with for The Little Regency Book Shop!

I liked the new cover style so much that it made me question all the previous covers I had designed. These contrasting design concepts are churning around in my head so much that it's making me dizzy!

I would greatly appreciate your thoughts on these two pairs of covers. Which do you like best? Which are you more likely to download?
