Canalside Homes Final Update
Hello! It's been a while since I mentioned Canalside Homes, but I thought I should put out a little update, especially for those of you who are subscribed to my free newsletter and wondering what is happening next.
Most of you reading this will be keen supporters of my old property website (thank you!) but my new subscribers and visitors will have arrived here more recently for the stories or the cemeteries (thank you too!) If so, please forgive this little diversion.
Where are the Canalside Homes?
Today, 30th January 2026, I removed all the canalside properties from my website. However, you can still find all my old advice pages here.
What am I doing now?
You have probably noticed that my website address has changed back to sheridanparsons.uk which reflects a change of emphasis rather than a complete about turn.
I think most of you will know that I have written historical non-fiction for many years, but in January 2026, there was a plot twist – I began to write Regency romance – and I'm loving it!
I will still be researching cemeteries and other historical topics, but I've had such a good initial response to my stories that writing fiction will be my main direction in the future. You can see my first three published stories here or check out my listings on Amazon.

- If you are subscribed to the free newsletters you will remain subscribed.
- If you unsubscribe from the free newsletters, I will completely close your account down for you.
